Agreed, I used an older Seasonic that had fan noise as an RMA test case. It
wasn't really worth even bothering with a return, but I did so anyway. The
replacement came fast but had some coil whine at low load. They sent out
another unit immediately and didn't require the first replacement to be
returned. I'd call the service excellent.

Seasonic powers all of my important non-rackmount systems. I recommend, in
order, Platinum, X-series, and S12G. I wouldn't bother with anything less
than 80Plus Gold.

I use and recommend them, have no empirical data but I did have to RMA one
once and they handled the return very well.
How a company handles returns is important, the one I returned pretty much
was a premature failure.
