I have a strange network problem that I believe I have traced to my five year old Netgear Modem. Intermitent connections between devices or no connection, no internet. It has gotten worse over time where now the LAN is unusable. Is it possible for a bad modem to corrupt the router to the point where it can't even handle device to device connections? I keep having to reset the router only to have it reappear. I have replaced the router only to have the same issue. Is Mororola DOCSIS 3 the best choice now?
