[H] Turn eight port video plug into six port?

I  have installed a new Seasonic 750 Watt Gold Power supply. This computer has 
a Radon HD video card with a SIX port female plug. The only six port plugs I 
see in my new PS box plug into the power supply and are used for hard drives.
So can I just remove two of the 8 port male plugs to make it a six port so it 
fits in my video card? I would just cut off two of the plugs with my Dremal.
