I think he means 4K sectors vs 512b sectors. Your SSD has 512b sectors, but the internal arrangement of blocks could be 128KB or more--and a block is the smallest unit that can be written in an SSD. This makes proper alignment important. If you used Windows Vista or later to create your partitions, you should be fine--and that goes for SSDs, striped RAID arrays, or advanced format (4K) magnetic disks.
