This is not the first time I have seen this bug and have no idea why windows would do this.
Out of the blue with NO HW changes windows says there was and says I have to re-activate. It does, no harm but WTF ! This particular episode was after a UPS failure and everything shut down but turned right back on. OS is XP Pro. Has anyone every seen this happen ?
