Can't figure this one out. Dell system with crap BIOS. XPH SP3 NTFS. Want to make 'small' drive be the boot drive (C) and 'large' drive the second drive (D). 'Large' drive used to be the boot drive (C) and 'small' the second drive (D). 'Large' drive has 1 SMART confirmed read issue, so using it as a backup. 'Small' drive has 0 SMART issues. That's why I'm making it the boot drive. No matter what I do - it keeps making 'large' drive C: and 'small' drive D: However, it appears to be booting from 'small' drive D: (Pretty sure) Tried Master-Slave pins, CS pins (HDD 0 goes on the end of the cable, right?), removing active bit from 'large', and it refuses to make the 'small' drive C: and boot. WTF!?
