This came up on another list: This is, quite simply, stunning. Here is a video that NASA have released of footage taken from cameras mounted on the Space Shuttle's Solid Rocket Boosters, showing their journey from lift off, through their seperation from the ship, to their fall back to Earth. Check out the Shuttle's airspeed indicator. And the amazingly eerie sounds, that have been remastered by the guys at Skywalker Sound. None of this is faked.
