[H] USB 3.0 ?

Sitting here with my new hw contemplating getting productive. I 
notice it has 4 USB 3 ports and 2 USB 2 ports out the back. Manual is 
specific about KB and mouse being on the USB 2 but my Bose speakers 
operate from a single USB port.

Will they work on USB 3 or will I need a L bracket to use one of the 
onboard USB 2 headers ?
