We had some good winds and of course tons of rains last night, but our
lights only flickered.  The advantages to living 1 mile from a
substation :)

The roads were empty, but completely safe here in the DC area.  Sounds
like NYC has much bigger problems than us.  Then again, I haven't gone
to downtown DC yet, haha.
