Next year (June 18th, 2013) is the 111th anniversery of the 
still-burning Shelby Light Bulb at the Livermore (CA) Fire Department.  
The bulb has been continuously burning for over 110 years!  And, for the 
last 20 years, every Fire House Chief has been scared that the bulb 
would die on their watch ;-).  It even has a webcam.
