That is interesting.. I did get Tom's reply but not James' mail. I did not use slides on the BLU talk, I just talked with the physical hardware. At OSCON I could not do that, due to transportation concerns and time constraints :)
Jabr will link the slides I used at OSCON with a note that it is not exactly the same talk, but close.
