The gist is that hackers on XDA Forums figured out how to install Amazon's Silk web browser on Android devices other than the Kindle Fire and take advantage of Amazon's back-end servers that accelerate browsing. Amazon is calling sch use "theft of service." Seems like a missed opportunity. Provide a free, ad-supported version of the browser in the marketplace and everyone will be happy. Particularly Amazon, and it gains a larger captive audience. -Tom _______________________________________________ Hardwarehacking mailing list [email protected] http://lists.blu.org/mailman/listinfo/hardwarehacking
