My daughter has three different lamps in her room, that she wants to control remotely from two different locations. Ideally the controllers would wall mount, but one could be table top. We could probably get away with two lamps if necessary. One is incandescent, one currently has candelabra LED bulbs, and the last one is small CFL. They're all low wattage, though.
At first I went with what I know, which is X10. X10 has turned out to not be reliable enough, even though I use it in several other rooms in the house with no problem. There's all sorts of bad mojo in her room. I thought of doing hard-wired two-way switches, but it would require running wires along the base of her closet door, and I'm afraid the monsters would chew on them. What would be the next step up (ie still affordable) technology to try, and where would be a good place to get it?
