I haven't heard of them, but that is not anything against them. I have been buying refurbed UPSes and (new) batteries from
http://www.refurbups.com/ Shipping normally comes UPS, and it is reasonably quick. If you order UPS, the batteries are always shipped separately, at least in my experience. The prices seem good, but other may be better. The batteries have always fit, and are ALWAYS new, and work as well as any 'premium' battery I have purchased elsewhere. Again not that others aren't good, but I have felt like I get a fair deal with these folks. When I worked for a bank, we ordered replacement batteries from APCC, and they had 'free recycling' (ship back using return label that comes with new batteries) but the prices obviously included the extra shipping charge. I take batteries to a local BatteriesPlus store and they do recycling for free. refurbups.com will take batteries but you need to ship them to them, so I found a less expensive to me alternative other than the garbage. _______________________________________________ Hardwarehacking mailing list [email protected] http://lists.blu.org/mailman/listinfo/hardwarehacking
