"...next generation pcDuino, pcDuino8, based on Allwinner's UltraOctaA80 chipset, world's first ARMĀ® big.LITTLE(TM) octa-core heterogeneous SoC chip with lightning-fast PowerVR 64-core G6230 GPU from Imagination Technologies." So this is an 8-core ARM board with a 64-core GPU? I assume the "Duino" part alludes to Arduino, but what the connection? I don't see any mention of a microcontroller co-processor. Are they doing Arduino software emulation like the Galileo? Are the headers Arduino shield compatible? Or is "Duino" just their way of saying that it is an embedded board aimed at makers? -Tom _______________________________________________ Hardwarehacking mailing list [email protected] http://lists.blu.org/mailman/listinfo/hardwarehacking
