Dear Chevra: I am a lay volunteer archivist/librarian for our 102 year old Shul, Congregation Tifereth Israel. We located at the end of Long Island, known as the North Fork. I retired out here after 25 years with the Yeshivah of Flatbush H.S. in Brooklyn, Yeah! Their wonderful Librarian, Rachail Kurtz is responsible for what I doing at this stage of my life. She is a gem!
The cost of archival material etc., is eroding my tiny budget. Any ideas? I have also written to institutions etc. to see if we are eligible for grants. So far, no luck. (I am hopeful, however).
