Dear Linda, After reading the book,I also agree that it is destructive and hateful. Like you, I am leary of calling for the banning of this book because I do not accept censorship as an option. However, I feel that we can best alert those people outside of the Judaic library world by writing reviews, sending letters, and expressing our professional opinions in book related publications (such as School Library Journal, HornBook,etc.) and on the various list servs and bulletin boards we belong to, as well as through our other professional associations.
