Data are the components of information. Data can be the 1's and 0's of a computer, names and addresses, or the raw facts and figures before interpretation. Data are stored in data bases. Information is organized data that has been arranged for better comprehension or understanding. What is one person's information can become an other person's data. Knowledge is the result of learning. Knowledge is the internalization of information, data, and experience.
