Once again the Jewish Community Library of Los Angeles has produced a
public radio special.
(You are probably familiar with, or may even own) the JCLLA produced Rosh
Hashanah (2003) and Hanukkah (2003) special public radio productions.
Passover: Time for Freedom will be airing locally in Los Angeles on Sunday
evening April 4 at 9 PM on KPCC 89.3 FM
The program will air on over 40 public radio stations throughout the nation.
The CD of the hour long program will be available to you for an $18
donation, no tax, no shipping, no handling.
(The format is similar to the Rosh Hashanah and Hanukkah specials produced
by the JCLLA for public radio.)

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Arye Gross, actor, hosts this special which will air on over 50 public
radio stations throughout the nation.
Passover is a time to celebrate freedom. It is the Jewish holiday that
recounts the great exodus of the Jewish people from slavery to liberation. It
comes at the beginning of spring when life is renewed and the rebirth
witnessed in
nature echoes the opportunity for personal cleansing and spiritual growth.
This special explores the journeys of a number of acclaimed Jewish writers
whose contemporary works reflect the Jewish people's
struggle for freedom. It is a program that appeals to a wide audience of
adult public
radio listeners.
A Time for Freedom will feature the following writers and artists:
