I'm not a classicist but our son is and working on his dissertation. I forwarded a letter about Ovid and he suggested a new translation by Ted Hughes and a book of essays on Ovid published by Cambridge UP. I expect Mr. Hughes could translated Ovid very well. Hag Sameach Marcia Schertz
