While (ironically) doing a search for an article using
the News area of Google (http://news.google.com), I
came across one of the recent articles about the
Google petition to remove Jew Watch from its database.

An example of one such article is this one from
Cleveland Jewish News :

http://www.clevelandjewishnews.com/articles/2004/04/01/news/local/online0402.txt

Getting back to the subject of the Wikipedia (that I
discussed in a previous message), an anonymous
Wikipedian added the following under "recent examples"
in the entry for Googlebomb :

Jew - Wikipedia entry for the word Jew, in an effort
to displace the #1 spot held by JewWatch, an
anti-Semitic group.

======

I intend to add a section to the entry for "Google" on
criticism of Google, including a mention of the "Jew
Watch" problem.

Steve
