Shalom,

I wonder if you could help me with phrase that half-sticks in
my memory. I am considering using it for my father-in-law's
     matzevah.

The way I half-remember the phrase is: "Ish tam v'yashar v'tzadik
     b'chol ... " and here I don't remember whether it is "ma'asav"
     or "d'rachav".

Please note that I do not mean the phrase from Iyov: "Ish tam
     v'yashar v'yarei Elo-kim v'saar mirah". Not that it doesn't
also apply, but that I do not want to invoke Iyov, who has
     become proverbial for his suffering.

Likewise, the phrase I am looking for is not the similar one from
Noach, nor the description of Yaakov, nor of Avraham Avinu.

I'm not sure if the phrase comnes from the Tanach, or whether it
might be from other sources (Mishna, Talmud, etc...)

Anyway, any help you can offer would be appreciated.

Thank you,
