Shalom

Habait Haisraeli is a center that brings together Israelis in Paris by
presenting Israeli culture, it belongs to the consulate and the ministery of
immigration. The center has also a library of Hebrew litterature.

In order to fully profit from our new Web site www.baitisraeli.net, we
thought of publishing an online catalogue of our library. That is why we are
currently searching for a library automation software that would allow us to
input and display all books data in hebrew (we don't neccessarily need the
menus of the program to appear in hebrew). As our budget is very limited, we
immediately thought of open source systems that we can get for free.
However, we couldn't find any indication if Koha, or phpMyLibrary, for
example, have character support for Hebrew.

Do you know about any other library software with Hebrew support that we
could get for free, or for a low price? We could also accept the following
structure: an HTML table accessible from the site, and a software module
running on a local library computer for the catalogue and the members' data.

Thanks a lot,

Adrian,
Habait Haisraeli - Israeli Consulate Paris
