Director of Public Programs, Fletcher Library, ASU's West campus:  The 
Director will work in an entrepreneurial, collaborative environment of 
rapid growth and change and evolving institutional expectations.  He or she 
will integrate and coordinate planning among the Instruction, Web, 
Collections, and Reference & Research Support Councils ensuring consistency 
and effectiveness of services.  The Director will focus on implementing 
strategic goals and preparing for the support of new degree programs and 
campus research initiatives.  He or she will supervise professionals and 
classified staff and will coordinate the Library's professional development 
agenda.  The Director will work with the Dean and librarians to articulate 
a shared vision of excellence that advances commitments to position 
effectiveness, professional development, and service.  The Director of 
Public Programs reports to the Dean of the Library who reports to the 
Provost of ASU's West campus.
