Congregation Mishkan Tefila of Chestnut Hill, MA is seeking an experienced Judaica librarian with an MA in library science or service. This 12 hour per week position includes one weekday, 10:00 am-6:00 pm (which can be divided over several days if that is helpful), and two Sundays per month 9:00 am-noon. Duties include book selection and accessioning; story hours for Religious and Nursery school classes; research assistance for students, teachers and other library patrons; leading and publicizing a monthly book discussion group; organizing a student book club to encourage the reading of Jewish books, and writing monthly articles for the synagogue bulletin featuring new acquisitions in the library.
