I checked the following sites and found them to be not working : http://www.bnai-israel.com/library.html http://www.jewishdayschool.org/ That doesn't necessarily mean that those libraries have been damaged, but I suspect that such is the case. - Eleanor Joseph (AJL member, 1998) worked at Elgutter Memorial Library in Baton Rouge - Deborah Schlackman ([EMAIL PROTECTED], AJL member in 1998) worked at the New Orleans Jewish Day School Has anyone on hasafran tried contacting them to find out what type of assistance is needed for their libraries? Will there be a book drive? It seems like every other year or so, natural or man-made calamities cause damage or destruction of one of our Jewish libraries.
