About the author: Rabbi Haim Perlmutter received his Rabbinic Ordination from the Israel Chief Rabbis Mordechai Eliyahu and Avraham Shapirah. He was a senior educator at Yeshivat Hakotel Rabbinical College in Jerusalem, Israel and has taught Talmud to beginners, intermediate and advanced students of all ages for over 20 years. His previous book Tools for Tosafos (Targum/Feldheim, 1996) has been used for years by students of Talmud all over the world as a comprehensive and systematic guide to the study of Tosafos, the renowned Talmudic commentary. He currently is the head of the Rabbi Doctor Haim Heller Rabbinic Ordination program.
