Hi Marion I used those sites in a lesson teaching boys about evaluating websites and information they see on the web. We talked about topics such as bias, relevance, how to verify information you find on the web etc. The boys responded very well when I showed them some of those sites and asked them how they would know if they were genuine or not. I also prepared a sheet where they had to research a Jewish topic using some sites and evaluate the usefulness of those sites. It teaches them critical thinking skills. I prepared a power point presentation on the topic which I am happy to share. Does that clarify the matter for you? Regards Michelle Feiglin Yeshivah Secondary Library Melbourne Australia
