award-winning library software exclusively for church libraries.
Surpass introduces Surpass CL Church Library Edition, a streamlined
library automation program that is easy to use and reasonably-priced for

pre-selected web

Cataloging simplified with Surpass CL
Cataloging materials is a simple fill in the blank process. The
included quick cataloging feature makes the process even faster by
finding book records on the
Internet after the user scans or enters the ISBN.
Patron self-service included in Surpass CL
Surpass CL includes Self-Check, a feature for patron self-service
whether the library is manned or unmanned. Librarians who choose
self-check simply position a
monitor, mouse, and barcode scanner so that patrons can use them. The
feature is completely mouse or touch-screen driven; there is no chance
for anyone to
access anything else on the computer. Self-Check's intuitive interface
makes it easy for patrons to check out items, check in items, or view
their account status.
Patron Management features in Surpass CL
Member information is easy to maintain with as little as just the patron
name and ID number. The information can be hand entered or imported
from popular
church member management systems. If patron e-mail addresses are also
entered, the system can send overdue notices via e-mail. The system can
even print
photo library cards.
