I've just taken out an ad in the AJL newsletter, in which Ben Yehuda Press promises "special offers" for librarians. This leads me to ask: What sort of special offers are most appealing to AJL members when it comes to book buying? As house publishing 5-10 books of Jewish interest a year, Jewish libraries are an important market for us, and we want to know how we can reflect that fact in our policies and our offers. Here are some of my ideas.
