This seems like a silly question but I'll ask anyway.  Do you write 
thank you notes to publishers, vendors, authors and others who send 
you complimentary books and/or uncorrected proofs?  Also, what do you 
end up doing with uncorrected proofs?  If you read one and write a 
review, good or bad, I assume you would send it to AJL with a copy to 
the publisher, too?
