Dear Hasafran readers, Recently Sylvia F. posted a message about a Jewish poetry group, and I have already exchanged e-mails with her, but I thought others might be interested in this as well.
About a year and a half ago, I had the happy task of spending a very large sum of money on books of Jewish poetry (specifically American Jewish poetry and Israeli poetry) for the Beth David Synagogue Library in Greensboro. The arrival of these new books coincided with National Poetry Month in April 2006, so I decided to have a little fun with it. I wrote a Jewish Poetry Quiz for the synagogue's newsletter that month (I couldn't let all that research go to waste!). If anyone would like a copy of the quiz or the list of titles, please let me know.
