In response to George Lederer, here is another work of historical fiction. Conway, Sara. Murder on Good Friday. Nashville, TN: Cumberland House, 2001. The murder of a Christian boy in 1220 brings accusations against a northern English town's few Jews. Miracles convince the townspeople that the boy is a saint, while the bailiff searches for evidence that will lead to the killer and save the Jews. The mystery is engaging, and the setting and relationships between the characters are well portrayed.
