Thank you all for your quick and helpful replies to my questions 
about foxing and DVDs, and also to those of you who sent memories of 
the library here.

My next question:  What do you do with books signed by authors?  For 
example, we have a few books signed by Elie Wiesel, and we are 
debating about whether to put them in our rare collection or to put 
them out for circulation.  We feel that they aren't really rare, as 
he signs so many, but we are a bit uncomfortable about circulating them.
