The article on contemporary trends in Jewish children's lit is by me, Heidi Estrin, and the article about classic Jewish children's books is by Linda Silver. Both of our articles mention the Sydney Taylor Book Awards and AJL, and together they give a good overview of the history and current state of the genre.
