Yes, Temple Ahavat Achim of Gloucester Massachusetts had a terrible fire and
burned to the ground. The apartment building next door caught fire and it
spread to the Temple. Unfortunately, a disabled resident of the apartment
building could not be rescued and died. The congregation of 250 families
held Shabbat services at a nearby church.   Many of you may know of the
Rabbi Emeritus of that synagogue,Myron Geller, the author of several Jewish
children's books.
