a small problem. We are a synagogue library in a nice new area. Students in our Hebrew School sometimes come to us after school to do their homework before Hebrew School. I would like to add general reference works to our reference collection that they could use.
what do other synagogue libraries do and what reference works do they choose to use. i think we would need an encyclopedia or two, one for adult level consultation and one for younger scholars and an atlas or general reference: maybe an almanac?
