Yossi-- what exactly is the forum for Hasafran? I am sure there is a
tight east coast community of librarians, but is it necessary to post
death notices, personal items, political arguments and notices of
everything going on culturally on the East coast? It is very time
consuming to go through the multitude of daily missives, and I have
heard from more than one librarian that they do not subscribe to
Hasafran because it is so tedious. Why not concentrate on
library-related issues, which I am guessing was the original intent? If
you can, would you send this to someone who oversees the postings (if it
isn't you) and/or post this on Hasafran to get a sense if this is a
common concern. Thank you. Judy Weidman, Congregation Beth Israel,
Houston
