Is Reincarnation Jewish?

FOR MANY PEOPLE IT WILL COME AS A SURPRISE that reincarnation is part
of the Jewish belief system. Return Again: The Dynamics of
Reincarnation (Devora Publishing, October 2008) is a comprehensive
volume which investigates the roots of reincarnation in the written
and oral Torah, and especially in the wisdom of Kabbalah and the
Chassidic movement. It deals with reincarnation in Jewish tradition,
the implications of reincarnation, and reincarnation in history.
Author Avraham Arieh Trugman presents a number of specific examples
of individuals in Jewish history according to their own personal
reincarnations. These revelations are truly fascinating, shed much
light on their deeds and actions, and serve as keys to the reader's
understanding of his own past, present, and future.

About the author:
Rabbi Avraham Arieh Trugman has been involved in Jewish education for
over thirty years. He has been regional director of NCSY in Denver,

Self-Expression through the Cycles of Jewish Life, The Mystical Power
of Music, and The Mystical Meaning of Dreams.
