Dear Marga, While the book is not yet out, we have a new title "Sammy Spider's First Day of School," by Sylvia A Rousss, coming out in Spring 2009 that deals with this very topic. Sammy Spider goes to school in little Josh's backpack only to crawl out while the kids are studying about the Jewish value of kindness to animals. You can imagne the kids' response when a spider appears in their classrom. I'll send an e-mail to this listserve when the book becomes available.
