I've just purchased a lovely book called "Everything I Need to Know I Learned from a Children's Book: Life Lessons from Notable People from All Walks of Life" edited by Anita Silvey (Roaring Brook, 2009). I am delighted to report that author Meg Wolitzer's entry is the All-Of-A-Kind Family series. Among her words of praise, she writes "What this novel has, most of all, is atmosphere, and this has influenced me deeply as a writer ever since."
