I, too, was uncomfortable and disturbed by the notice for a professional volunteer librarian. However, it is our job to advocate, not to censor. Perhaps the organization should receive a barrage of email from professional librarians "educating" them instead. On the other hand, volunteering is a gift. Who are we to decide that someone with skills, education and wealth cannot dedicate themselves to the cause and contribute as a volunteer?
