Ephemeral material - Here at LC, we have been receiving lots of ephemeral material. Considering the amount of time it takes to process this material (pay, sort, catalogÂ….), we have decided to cut back on the amount of material and the types we are collecting. Storage of this material is also becoming a problem. We know how important this material is but we cannot devote the staff and budget to deal with it. Would anyone be interested in a roundtable format at the AJL conference to discuss possible ways to coordinate efforts and resources. Ideally, this material should be filmed , scanned and made available to different libraries.
