FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Baal Shem Tov and Others Meet the eBook in

36 Candles: Chassidic Tales for Chanukah

Jerusalem, Israel (November 2010) This year kindling the Chanukah
lights will be a whole new story when the Baal Shem Tov, Rabbi Zusya
of Hanipoli and others enter the age of the eBook with 36 Candles:
Chassidic Tales for Chanukah, a retelling of thirty-six inspiring
tales from the Chassidic and Mussar traditions by Libi Astaire - one
tale for each candle that is lit during the eight days of the holiday.

While some tales take place in the Eastern European shtetls of
several hundred years ago and others are set during the Holocaust,
each story has been specially chosen because of the way that it
illuminates Chanukah's eternal message: Never despair! Miracles do
happen. Light can be found when and where we least expect it.

Libi Astaire is the author of the historical mystery The Disappearing
Dowry (Zahav Press), recipient of a 2010 Sydney Taylor Notable Book
Award, and Terra Incognita(Targum Press), a novel about modern-day
descendents of Spain's crypto-Jews. In addition to being a regular
contributor to the international Jewish weekly Mishpacha Magazine,
she has written about Jewish history and spirituality for websites
such asbreslev.co.il and aish.com.

36 Candles: Chassidic Tales for Chanukah is available for Kindle and
Kindle-compatible ereaders at Amazon.com. It is available for Nook,
Sony, and other devices atwww.smashwords.com.
