There have been a couple of recent messages about what to do with Jewish books you don't want, including prayer books. You can donate Jewish books to Jewish prisoners. Click on the URL to find out where to send these books.http://www.jewishprisonerservices.org/dormantjudaica.htm. This was posted on ha-safran a few years ago. I have sent boxes of books to them. You will have to pay to send them, but consider it a mitzvah to help people who need your books.
