The New York Metropolitan Area Chapter of the Assn. of Jewish Libraries (AJL-NYMA) will hold its Spring 2011 Conference on Tuesday morning, May 17th, at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, 1 West 4th Street, New York City. The theme of the conference is genealogy, with presenters Robert Friedman and David Kleiman.
In addition, we will be celebrating the careers and contributions to Judaica librarianship of Aviva Astrinsky (YIVO) and Phil Miller (HUC-JIR).
