Hi, I'm also very curious to see what will happen in the US so we can figure out what the policies will be like here in Israel. I guess other countries are doing the same. I just came across an article saying that 300 Hebrew e-readers (capable of holding 2000 books) were given to 150 libraries some time in the past year. I wonder how that went... The article (from HaAretz Nov. 25, 2010) said most have only 2 books loaded but 10 libraries in the periphery will have 50 books each. Can we have a special side-topic about E-books in libraries for those who are particularly interested? We will also have Prof. Elhanan Adler speak about "E-books, readers and libraries" at our English libraries & collections conference on Feb. 2 in Jerusalem. For more info, please contact me at this email or my work one: libraryassessm...@aaci.org.il Thanks, Sandra
