Most of us copy-catalogue. A searched, a few years ago, in CAT showed that 7 out of 10 libraries put the book on the Young Adults shelf. I consider myself a liberal person, but after reading it I had to consider parents that might be offended. If I were Dr. hart, who knows knows the parents, I will go on the safe side. If I remember correctly the Rabbi is not treated with respect. I am not sure about it because I don’t have the book with me, however, I’m sure that there are many books about Israel in French. I'm not even going to hazard a guess as to what a 13-year old probably watches on video games or has stashed under his matress, so the whacky thoughts of an ugly but loveable cat are hardly going to raise many eyebrows and if he's French even less so.
