Dear hasafran:

In doing research on the late Hebrew poet, Ephraim E. Lisitzky, I find in
his NYT obituary a note that his library (or is it only the Hebrew books in
it?) was given to the Histadrut Ivrit of America. So far the most
reasonable responses are that part of it is housed at the University of
Texas at Austin, and the other part at the Center for Jewish History in NYC.
I would appreciate any leads in this regard, especially by librarians in
these locations.

Sincerely,

Stephen Katz

Indiana University, Bloomington
