Dear Safranim,

I am doing a recon project at the library of my synagogue. This project will
also involve reclassifying the books and doing an evaluation of the collection
to determine the library's strengths and weaknesses.  Currently, I am doing an
evaluation of only the rabbinic collection.  I would like to build up the
library's core rabbinic collection.  My question is:  Even though I have an
idea of what the core rabbinic collection ought to look like (based on my
experience of working in Judaic collections and personal learning) and could
develop and ad hoc list, I would like to know if a list of core rabbinic titles
has ever been published?

Thank you,
Haim
